What we collect

• Account: your name, email, password (stored only as a one-way hash), learning level and preferred language.
• Learning: lessons completed, quiz scores, words learned and saved, and daily activity for your streak.
• Classes: the details you give when you enroll or apply to teach, including a CV if you attach one.
• Payments: handled by Paystack. We receive the payment result and reference; we never see or store card numbers.
• Searches: the words searched in the dictionary, so we can add the words people need.

What we don't do

We don't sell your data, show third-party advertising, or use tracking cookies. The only cookie keeps you signed in.

Children

Accounts are for people aged 13 or over, or created by a parent together with their child. There are no messaging features between learners.

Your choices

In Settings you can download your data or close your account at any time. Closing your account deletes your progress; contributions you made to the dictionary stay but no longer show your name.
